The decision
came a day after coalition party leaders agreed to update the list of banned
countries daily (!). This move is expected to reduce flights abroad by making it
difficult to plan trips in advance and puts every travel to Israel in the coming weeks at a risk.
For the current ban exceptions, please read our post, by clicking here.
Under the Israeli
COVID-19 Entry Restrictions, entry
to Israel is banned for foreign nationals visiting a red country in the last 14
days before arrival in Israel.
Non-Israelis
who visited a red country in the last 14 days, will be denied entry to Israel
unless they petition the Exceptions Committee successfully. In such cases, the isolation will be needed to be done at State COVID-19 designated motels.
The move could
reduce international travel by making it increasingly difficult to plan trips
in advance.
