Clarifications to the 14 days Bar from Entry of Foreign Nationals

According to the Ministry of Interior's advice, during the coming 14 days ban, foreign nationals who have a valid B-1 work visa to Israel and a multiple entry visa, will be able to enter Israel , provided they are fully adhering to medical regulation, i.e. the individuals that are eligible for Israeli green pass, and received an authorization to travel after filling the form that is required 48 hours before a flight.

Entry permits issued before today are cancelled, and will not allow entry.

Visitors and Dependents

In a case where the flight took off before midnight 28 November 2021 (Israel time), the foreign national entry will be permitted subject to medical regulations (see above). Any visitor that will travel later than midnight 28 November 2021 (Israel time), will not be able to enter Israel without special authorization to travel A.K.A “permit to board the plane”.

During the 14 days ban, any business person wishing to travel to Israel will need to apply for a special permit to enter Israel for business. Once approved, an entry permit will be issued.

KTA will follow up on the topic in a Client Alert and will advise accordingly. Additional 24 hours updates regarding the ban can be found in KTA dedicated post: click here
