Important Note Regarding Entry From Highest Risk Country
Following discussions with the
Ministry of Interior earlier today, we were advised that in practice, despite what is mentioned in official
websites, any foreign nationals traveling from “Highest Risk” countries,
are currently banned from entry into Israel.
The total ban from entry includes holders of a B-1 work visa travelling from these countries that were vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in Israel or abroad.
The current list of Highest risks of COVID-19 morbidity is Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Spain, and Kyrgyzstan. As of July 30th, UK, Turkey, Cyprus, and Georgia will be joined to the list.
Travelers arriving from Medium Risk countries are obligated in isolation of at least 1 week (even if vaccinated).
The list of Highest Risk & Medium Risk countries is updated from time to time. We recommend checking the country classification before traveling on the Ministry of Health website: Click here.
