Kan-Tor & Acco, a boutique corporate immigration law firm located in Ramat Gan, Israel, is pleased to announce that Shai Nimrodi and Itzik Laniado have been appointed partners in the firm.

They join existing  Partners Tsvi Kan-Tor, Amit Acco and Yoav Noy of the Israeli Department who are proud to have led the firm’s growth during the past last 14 years.

Shai joined the Law Offices of Kan-Tor & Acco in 2012. Shai takes great pride in building outstanding client relationships. His corporate immigration practice will continue to focus on the sports, food and transportation industries. Itzik joined the Law Offices of Kan-Tor & Acco in 2013. He has successfully developed large scale immigration law projects and will continue to focus on visa work related to infrastructure, banking, and technology.

New COVID-19 Requirements for Employees Entry to Israel


The Ministry of Interior advised today of the following changes in the regulation regarding foreign employees’ entry to Israel during COVID-19:

  1. Entry to Israel is prohibited for any foreign nationals arriving (or having stayed within 14 days prior to travel) from the following countries: Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico, Russia, Argentina.
  2. Employee’s first entry to Israel – COVID-19 entry permit is required. Employers should apply for this permit at the Ministry of Interior at least 2weeks prior to travel. 
  3. Employees that already hold a valid B-1 working visa, as well as a multiple entry visa stamp in their passport, do not need to apply for a COVID-19 entry permit prior to every re-entry to Israel.
  4. Dependents of B-1 working visa employees must obtain a COVID-19 entry permit prior to every entry, regardless of whether they hold a multiple entry visa. The employer should apply for this permit at the Ministry of Interior at least two weeks prior to travel.
