Immigration Client Alert | Israel, Poland, Armenia

Total Ban to Entry of Foreign Nationals to Israel

https://campaign-image.com/zohocampaigns/612417000000653004_zc_v7_corona11.jpg

Effective Immediately: The Israeli Ministry of Interior imposed a total ban to entry to Israel of all foreign nationals, even if they can prove the ability to remain in home isolation, as was the case  until now.

The Population Authority advised that this decision does not include foreign nationals for whom “the center of their lives” is in Israel. It was also reported that the directive will enter into effect upon publication and would apply to all of Israel's international border controls:

“The Population and Immigration Authority of Israel will refuse entry to Israel of any foreign national who is not a citizen or resident of Israel except those who have received extraordinary permission from the Population and Immigration Authority. The airline is responsible for returning any passenger whose entry into the country was refused”.

extraordinary permission to enter Israel has recently been granted to foreign nationals working in emergency services within the health, power, gas, and oil industries.

No clarification was provided to the term “Center of life in Israel”.

Please contact your Kan-Tor & Acco Client Service Manager in case of a need to determine if a foreign national meets the standard and may enter Israel or where there is a need to apply for an extraordinary application to allow entry.

Ban to Entry of Foreign Nationals to Armenia

All foreigners will be banned from entry into Armenia if they are nationals of a country or have been in countries with a tense epidemiological situation for the last 14 days (the list of such countries will be determined and updated by the Armenian Commandant’s Office).

We recommend contacting Kan-Tor & Acco’s Client Manager in Armenia before planning such travel to Armenia to ensure entry.
