Israel has banned the entry of non-Israeli nationals who have visited the East Asian locations of Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan in the past two weeks.
Earlier today, the Israeli Interior Minister instructed with an immediate effect, that Italy is to be added to a list of countries to which travel to Israel is being barred.
As a result of the surprising instruction, dozens of travelers from Italy were refused entry to Israel earlier today.
